Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on July 2 that "not a single weapon" from Serbia could be found on battlefields in Ukraine, on either side.

"We are not selling weapons or munitions to either side," Vucic told Prva TV. He said that Serbia was selling ammunition to the Czech Republic, Spain, the U.S., Turkey and Azerbaijan, and that one never knew where the ammunition would wind up as "you can't choose."

Vucic said Serbia would hold out for a long as it could and not introduce sanctions against Russia. "We are holding out for now. Our decisions to date have proven good. Will we hold out or not -- I will not make any promises, unlike others," Vucic said, adding that he was independent in his policies, which "are in the interest of the state and people" and would continue to be. He added that the Albanians could do whatever they wanted, and that the West did not care about Serb human rights violations in Kosovo where Serbs were being "exposed to terror."

Vucic added that if any of the organizers of the Serbia against Violence protests said they wanted elections, they would "have them that very day," but that they knew they could not win.
