The chairwoman of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo, and her deputies Zukan Helez and Stasa Kosarac are traveling to Brussels on July 18, to attend a meeting of the EU-Bosnia and Herzegovina Stabilization and Association Council on July 19.

Bosnian Defense Minister Zukan Helez will on July 18 meet with EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi, and the next day, the Bosnian delegation will meet with EU High Representative Josep Borrell. The Council meeting will discuss 14 priorities contained in the European Commission Opinion on Bosnia’s progress on the EU path.

Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik on July said that RS had sent to Brussels its proposal for de-escalating the ongoing crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, envisaging that all 14 priorities be resolved in a package. “The EU is expecting from us to endorse 14 recommendations and to accept three as the proof of moving forward, but we believe that this has been done deliberately, and that one of the recommendations, addressing the issue of foreign judges in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been deliberately left aside,” Dodik said.
