Freedom and Justice Party president Dragan Djilas has said that one ticket for the opposition parties formally organizing the Serbia against Violence protests should be imperative for elections in Belgrade and that it guaranteed victory.

Djilas told the Aug. 5 issue of the Nova newspaper that running in legislative elections with two tickets was better due to political differences. "It is clear that there are certain differences among the parties formally organizing the protests, especially when it comes to their attitudes toward Europe and the European Union," he said.

Asked if his party would could accept post-electoral cooperation with Dveri (Doors), the Oath-Keepers and the New Democratic Party of Serbia, Djilas said cooperation was possible with parties that were truly opposition and were "working to dismantle this system which rests on crime, corruption and a media blockade."
