Minister of European Integrations Tanja Miscevic said on Nov. 9 that the rule of law and continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue were the main conditions for Serbia's progress toward the EU.

"The rule of law and continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina are the two main conditions for progress. Reforms of the rule of law are the most important for our citizens en route to the EU. Serbia's devotion to participating actively in the dialogue was noted in this report as well," the minister told the Serbian public broadcaster commenting on the European Commission's report on Serbia's progress.

She said that it was important that European officials had concluded that the creation of a Community of Serb Municipalities was still a prerequisite for progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and normalizing relations.

"Regardless of the electoral process we continue our work, we are going through all of the measurements of rule of law and how to use all processes so that we do everything to receive a positive evaluation from the [EU’s] member states by 2030," Tanja Misevic said.
