On Feb. 12, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic appeared at the World Government Summit in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. She had several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit and is expected to give a keynote address at the opening of the Future of Mobility panel.

The Serbian prime minister posted on her Instagram profile that her visit to the UAE began with a meeting with Omar Al Olama, the UAE Minister for AI, and that the two discussed the matter of artificial intelligence wherein lies, in her words, ”Serbia’s future success.”

Brnabic recalled that in May 2022, Serbia and the UAE signed a memorandum of understanding on digitization and AI, and announced the signing of a new memorandum for cooperation with the Large Language Model (LLM) Falcon on Feb. 13.

On the sidelines of the summit, Brnabic met with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, spoke with Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), and had an encounter with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Kamal Madbouly.

On the second day of the Summit, on Feb. 13, Brbanic will give an opening address at the Government Services forum.
