The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) received a donation from Germany on April 11, in the form of five military trucks worth EUR2.7 million, made by the Rheinmetall company, and it was announced that ten more such vehicles would be procured for the KSF.
During the presentation ceremony at the Adem Jasari barracks, defense minister Ejup Macedonci stated that this was a special day for the KSF because the donation from Germany would improve their logistical and operational capacities. He said that, as a strategic partner, Germany had played an exceptional role on the path of growth and development, and that Pristina was grateful for it.
In his words, the EUR2.7-million donation in trucks adds on to the 3.5-million donation that was presented last year. The German ambassador in Pristina, Joern Rohde, said that the five trucks donated by Germany would help the KSF in logistics, adding that the donation affirmed the excellent relations between Germany and Kosovo.
