Dacic Attends Global Conference for Media Freedom in London

The Global Conference for Media Freedom will take place in London, July 10 to 11. Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic will be representing Serbia.

Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland, and Jeremy Hunt, the UK Foreign Secretary, will co-host the conference, structured around the issues of media freedom and media legislation, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

The conference will inaugurate a high-level panel of legal experts on media freedom, chaired by Amal Clooney.

Minister Dacic is also scheduled to meet with the Minister of State for the Commonwealth and United Nations, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, and Tomas Tugendhat, chairman of the British Foreign Affairs Committee.
