Five munitions deals will be signed with France during French President Emmanuel Macron's two-day visit to Serbia, Nenad Miloradovic, assistant defense minister at the Material Resources Sector, announced on July 13, adding that Serbia and France already had an agreement on strategic partnership and were cooperating.

Miloradovic told the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation that three memorandums of understanding would be signed, pertaining to electronic and radar systems, and cooperation in the production and maintenance of these systems in Serbia. Miloradovic specified that Serbia was buying the Mistral anti-aircraft defense system, which he described as one of the best in the world.

According to him, the system will be integrated with the PASARS missile artillery system, which would considerably increase the readiness of the Army of Serbia.
