On May 2 the Serbian parliament voted in a new cabinet helmed by Serbian Progressive Party leader Milos Vucevic. The cabinet is one of continuity, the sixth consecutive to be de facto led by Aleksandar Vucic. In addition to Vucevic, who is replacing Ana Brnabic, the biggest novelty in its composition is the return of two politicians under U.S. sanctions (Aleksandar Vulin and Nenad Popovic) and the inclusion of two former opposionists (Milica Djurdjevic-Stamenkovski and Tatjana Macura) along with the president of the Progressive’s executive committee Darko Glisic.
