Certain companies from Republika Srpska are losing their foreign partners, who are due to the current difficult situation caused by coronavirus spread canceling the implementation of multi-million contracts.

RS Chamber of Commerce spokesman Vladimir Blagojevic has said that domestic businesses, after all the problems they have faced, are now being left without their foreign partners who are canceling deals "weighing" several million marks, daily Nezavisne Novine reports.

"Foreign partners are notifying domestic firms that they are stopping cooperation which has been going on for several years, even decades. These are mainly companies from Italy, Germany and Austria, i.e. countries which are the most important foreign trade partners of (Republika) Srpska," said Blagojevic.

He underscored that certain foreign companies had for the sake of prevention "locked up" until mid-April, which is certainly also affecting their contracts with RS companies. Numerous domestic companies are, in the midst of cancellation of multi-million deals by foreign companies, focused on finding new business partners in a bid to maintain a minimum of production.
