Rogaska Buys Medija Thermal Spa

The Medija Thermal Spa has been sold to the Hoteli in Turizem Rogaska company for EUR400,000, the spa’s bankruptcy administrator Igor Boncina has said. 

According to SEEbiz, the sale of the Medija Thermal Spa had been under way for a while. After several sale attempts, in April Boncina sold the spa to the Ljubljana-based brokerage and trade company Meru for EUR375,000. 

However, the Municipality of Zagorje ob Savi, which had the right of first refusal, appealed this sale. The Higher Court of Ljubljana accepted the appeal in June and annulled the sale and purchase agreement.
