EUR2.75m from IPA Funds for Employment in Smaller Municipalities

The Ministry of Economy has invited interested parties to submit project proposals for supporting employment in underdeveloped municipalities in Montenegro by the Dec. 3 deadline, daily Vijesti reports. 

The invitation is being carried out as part of an EU–Montenegro employment, education and social protection program, for which the main user institution is the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, and which is being realized with IPA funds, the Ministry has explained. 

The total amount that will be allocated within the program is EUR2.75m. 

The minimum sum for a grant is EUR180,000 while the maximum is 550,000. 

“Any subsidy that is applied for within this project must be between the minimum and the maximum amount being allocated,” reads the instruction for applicants. 

It also says that the focus is on the towns of Danilovgrad, Niksic, Cetinje, Zabljak, Ulcinj, Pluzine, Pljevlja, Kolasin, Mojkovac, Savnik, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Rozaje, Plav, Gusinje, Andrijevica, and Petnjica.
