Since Feb. 24, when a war began in Ukraine, 288 legal and physical persons from Russia opened companies in Serbia, together with six Ukrainian business owners, the N1 portal reported on April 6.

The Agency for Business Registries confirmed for the portal that 10 Russian and three Ukrainian firms were deleted from the Agency’s records at the same time.

The newly-established Russian firms are usually registered for programming operations, unspecified retail sale, business consulting and management, and somewhat less frequently for IT consulting. The firms deleted from the agency registry were active in the catering industry, construction, architecture, tyre production and beauty industry and creative arts.

The newly-established Ukrainian companies have registered to offer consulting, catering and transportation services, while a marketing agency, a chemical trade company and a mobile catering facilities were removed from the list of registered companies.
