The single labor market of the Open Balkans initiative, whose members are Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia, launched on March 1, which means that all citizens of the three countries will be able to get a job in any of the countries of the initiative through a simple process.

According to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, that will enable workers to work on not just seasonal, but also other shortage jobs without any administrative barriers.

Free access to a labor market of some 11 million people is expected to prevent the further drain of the workforce and youth from the region by offering employment possibilities, but also to meet growing demand for quality staff, of both local and international companies operating in the region.
