The speaker of the Serbian parliament, Ivica Dacic, met in Belgrade on Nov. 4 with the ambassador of Portugal, Maria Da Silva Pina, and discussed the possibilities for improving the cooperation between the two countries' parliaments.
They concurred that the forming of parliamentary friendship groups in the two parliaments would significantly boost the strengthening of that segment of cooperation, reads the statement of the Serbian parliament.
The ambassador has stated that Portugal, as the presiding country of the EU in the first half of 2021, would increase its engagement in Serbia's European integration.
