World Health Organization chief in Serbia Marijan Ivanusa said on Sept. 17 that Serbia was a leading country in terms of coronavirus infections and pleaded for all citizens to respect measures and get vaccinated.

Ivanusa told Prva TV that the virus's delta strain "is dominant and the most dangerous." "A large number of people who are sensitive to the virus will be infected.
