After a two-week blockade, traffic has resumed at the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings with the introduction of stickers for license plates, the RTS Public Service reported on Oct. 4.

Broadcasting live from the Jarinje crossing at 8 a.m., RTS showed vehicles from Raska, Central Serbia, having their state insignia covered with white stickers.

The solution has been agreed upon by both Belgrade and Pristina, and will be used for the next six months while a permanent answer is sought.

Belgrade and Pristina also agreed that KFOR will be present at both crossings over the next two weeks.

Leading up to the agreement were some ten days of tensions, with Kosovo Special Forces stationed at the crossings and Kosovo Serbs erecting barricades in response.
