Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will arrive on a visit to Serbia late on July 29, as part of a tour during which he will visit four other Western Balkan countries.

In Belgrade, Sanchez will talk with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and other officials.

The other stops on the Spanish PM's tour, which lasts until Aug. 1, are Sarajevo, Mostar, Podgorica, Skopje, and Tirana.

Sanchez is coming to the region with the aim of "reactivating, reviving and revitalizing the EU enlargement process" in the Western Balkans, Spanish media said ahead of the visit. Spain is one of the five EU Member States that have not recognized the independence of Kosovo, which is not included in Sanchez's tour.
