The "Passport of Competences" project, conducted in Serbia by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), will help the people who have not obtained knowledge through the school or university system to find employment more easily, or help those who wish to re-qualify in order to be better positioned on the labor market, GIZ announced on Aug. 17.

Within the project, conducted jointly by GIZ and the Network of Activists for the Passport of Competences in Serbia, the people have counseling on their disposal, as well as the instrument for defining and valuing of knowledge, skills and experience obtained in life.

"The Passport of Competences can be an efficient instrument for assisting employers in the process of professional selection or systematization of work places. The service is free, advisers are available in six cities in Serbia, within the DIMAK center in the offices of the Migration Service Centers of the National Employment Bureau in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Krusevac, Novi Pazar and Nis," a project manager at GIZ, Ivana Risticevic, has stated.
