Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Oct. 24 said he was expecting to be meeting with Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti in Brussels in the coming days.
“I am expecting that Kurti and I will be travelling again to Brussels in the next two or three days. It is our task to protect Serbia against any possible measure and undermining of our national interests, and I believe that we will manage to do it,” Vucic said in Leskovac where he visited the General hospital which has received a mammography machine.
Asked to comment on Kurti’s latest accusations regarding the incident in the village of Banjska in North Kosovo and his demands for imposing sanctions against Serbia, Vucic said that Belgrade had never asked for sanctions against “anyone, including Pristina.”
“Serious governments and states do not act that way. In Kosovo, they have a hysterical approach to everything and have been inventing new affairs on a daily basis. The foolishness of what we read and hear is unbelievable, because such things cannot come from a sane person,” Vucic noted.
