The Serbian speaker, Vladimir Orlic, said that the Parliament of Serbia would be constituted until Feb. 11, and that after the inaugural session the formation of a new government should commence.

In an interview with the Pink TV on Jan. 24 Orlic explained that the final election results had been declared, and that a 30-day deadline for holding the constitutive session of the Serbian assembly was running.

"Everything is going as planned and in accordance with the law. The constitutive session of the Parliament will be held until Feb. 11, after which the laws necessary for the formation of Serbia’s new government will be passed, and, in the end, the people able to implement the agenda ‘Serbia 2027 - Leap into the Future’, will be elected,” said Orlic.

The Serbian speaker also said that the opposition, in all their hatred, failed to see that the people did not want them, blaming the voters for their defeat in the elections. “While they were in power, they turned the country into a doormat. Ambassadors made their cabinets.  Following the same principle, they are now going to foreigners on bended knee, begging to bring them back to power. What they don’t see is that Serbia is no longer the country they made it to be, but rather a sovereign nation making independent decisions,” Orlic said.
