The fact that Radoje Zvicer, boss of Montenegro’s criminal Kavac clan, was still at large posed a major problem and security threat, particularly to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said on June 18.

Dacic told TV Pink that the police forces of the two countries, particularly Montenegro’s law enforcement, should direct their focus on this problem.

Certain media outlets have recently published transcripts of intercepted conversation among the members of the criminal Kavac gang, which contains negative comments about Vucic and mentions launching “media campaign” against him.

“President Vucic is the one who has initiated the fight against organized crime and was leading the team countering such activities. It is why he is seen as the biggest threat to criminals and organized crime,” Dacic said.
