Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric is taking part in the 54th regular session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Paraguay, where Serbia holds the status of a permanent observer, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
The session is taking place in Paraguay’s capital city of Asuncion, from June 26 to 28.
Serbia has maintained the observer status in this organization since 2002. During the conference, Minister Djuric will speak at a meeting between heads of member states’ delegations and their counterparts from the countries enjoying the permanent observer status, the Ministry explained in the release.
During his three-day stay in Asuncion, Djuric will have fringe meetings with his Central and South American counterparts.
