Instead of allowing Serbia’s military and Security and Information Agency to do their jobs, President Aleksandar Vucic has publicly released sensitive data pertaining to state security, Freedom and Justice Party deputy president Borko Stefanovic said on July 4.

“When, after a meeting with the Serbian Army General Staff, Aleksandar Vucic stands in front of cameras and publicly states that there isn’t a country in the area that hasn’t sent drones and planes to monitor and spy on Serbia, that is an act of endangering state security,” Stefanovic maintained in a written statement.

He added that Vucic and his Serbian Progressive Party have “seized” the state and military from the people and are using both for party purposes.

“It’s better [for the regime] if the people are talking about drones than about our prices going wild or our cities being flooded,” Stefanovic concluded.
