From Oct. 3 to 15, a mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be staying in Belgrade as part of the latest review of Serbia’s stand-by arrangement with the Fund.
During their stay, the mission – led by Donald McGettigan – will hold in-person meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Finance Minister Sinisa Mali and representatives of the National Bank of Serbia.
The country’s two-year stand-by arrangement with the IMF expires in late 2024, but it has been announced that the deal will be extended for a minimum of two more years.
The value of the arrangement is EUR2.4 billion.
