The fact that the ongoing student protests have no leaders, which has been the biggest problem of student protests in the past, poses an unsolvable problem for the incumbent regime, Gojko Bozovic, writer and one of the founders of the ProGlas initiative, has said.

Bozovic told the Vreme weekly that the regime had no trouble dealing with centralized political parties and events and had managed to control them, but cannot seem to handle that decentralized rebellion.

"I am not surprised by the mass resistance that is growing increasingly great and determined day in, day out, but I did not expect youth to be the backbone of that rebellion at this time. It is the best thing that has happened to Serbia in the last 20 years," said Bozovic.
