On June 11, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will be attending the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit, his office has announced.

According to the press release, the president will spend a day in Ukraine for the summit, which takes place in Odessa.

Vucic’s visit comes less than two weeks after Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) accused official Belgrade of providing Ukraine with large shipments of munitions, despite Serbia’s professed neutrality.

Moscow labeled the behavior “backstabbing” and recalled the long-standing close ties between the people and countries of Russia and Serbia.
