The upcoming local elections in 10 towns in Serbia will be another serious test for both the Aleksandar Vucic-led regime and its opponents, personified by the rebel students and opposition parties and movements. Even though these are not representative environments, but rather places in which the Serbian Progressive Party scored landslide victories in previous years, the elections will nevertheless be an indicator of sorts of the trends in ratings of both sides at the national level, which is why they are attracting almost the same amount of attention as the parliamentary ones.
