The speaker of the People’s Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS), Nenad Stevandic, stated on Sept. 18 that the topics of the Serbia-RS Parliamentary Forum were parliamentary cooperation, preservation of peace, stability and economic development.
“The message from Banjaluka is that we wish to promote the policy of accord, cooperation, solving open issues through dialogue and not by forming military alliances and interfering in internal matters of other countries,” Stevandic said at a news conference.
Serbian Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic did not participate in the Forum, although her arrival in Banjaluka was announced by the RS parliament on Sept. 17. The Parliamentary Forum consists of 11 members of delegations of Serbia and RS and this has been the third gathering since the constituting of the Forum on July 2, 2024.
