Newly appointed French Ambassador to Serbia Florence Ferrari has handed official copies of her credentials to the chief of diplomatic protocol at the Serbian Foreign Ministry.

“This very cordial meeting made it possible to reaffirm the relations of friendship and cooperation that bind our two countries, as well as the will to work together on strengthening bilateral relations and the consolidation of Serbia’s EU path,” it has been published on the Embassy’s website along with a photo of the meeting on Sept. 29.

Ferrari was appointed ambassador to Serbia on Sept. 19 by the decree of French President Emmanuel Macron. She was French ambassador to Slovenia from 2018 to 2022, and later served as the General Inspectorate deputy director at the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
