Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Boris Bratina said on Nov. 12 that cross-border collaborations and broadcasters “should not exist in any country’s media space.”

“Cross-border collaborations are protected by various regulations. They are hidden so that, legally, you can’t touch them. That is why we’re seeking further legal amendments because they shouldn’t exist in our media space,” Bratina told Pink TV.

According to him, the N1 and Nova televisions are “offshoots of foreign agencies” while Radio Free Europe “should be removed.”

“Radio Free Europe has smooth discourse, discourse that was prepared for the crisis in former Yugoslavia and is still being applied today,” the minister concluded.
