Royalist Movement: Monarchists Assemble, No Ousting of Dictator without Authentic Right

The alliance “Monarchists – Movement for the Kingdom of Serbia” was officially joined on Nov. 19 by eight “patriotic, monarchist and Ravna Gora movements and civil associations,” by signing a cooperation agreement on the premises of the royalist Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, headed by Vladimir Jelic.

The alliance was joined by the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, the Movement of the Founding of the Principality of Serbia, the United Ravna Gora Movement of Serbia, the Serbian Monarchists’ Movement, the Ravna Gora Movement SRBIOORS, Together for Sumadija, the “Bojevo Bratstvo” veterans’ association and the Association of Indigenous Inhabitants of Serbia.

Jelic, who is the co-president of the Alliance, stated at a news conference that “there can be no dismissal of the dictatorial, treasonous regime of Aleksandar Vucic without an authentic right.” “On this day, we are stronger with eight reputable organizations and movements. We invite other parties of the right, organizations, movements and reputable individuals to join us in the fight against the regime and for the restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia,” Jelic stated.

A co-president and member of parliament of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, Dusan Radosavljevic, stressed that “the monarchy was forcibly and illegally abolished.” It was stated that support to this political gathering was also sent by Prince Vladimir Karadjordjevic, who welcomed the “efforts of monarchist and patriotic organizations to assemble with the aim of restoring the Kingdom of Serbia.”
