New ambassadors of Ukraine, India, Angola and Japan Present Their Credentials to Vucic

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Feb. 3 received credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of Ukraine, India, Angola, and Japan.

Vucic told Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksandr Lytvynenko that Serbia was ready to improve cooperation with Ukraine on the basis of mutual respect, international law and preservation of peace and stability. He stressed that there was more room for Serbia and Ukraine to develop economic, multilateral cooperation, underlining the importance of establishing peace as a key precondition for the stability and prosperity in the whole of Europe.

In a meeting with India’s Ambassador Abhishek Shukla, Vucic underlined “Serbia’s interest in actively contributing to the responsible and ethical development of artificial intelligence and digital technology in cooperation with India as one of the global leaders in the IT sector”. He added that Serbia saw India “as a strategic partner in connecting innovative ecosystems, research centers and universities.”

With Angola’s Ambassador Eduardo Octavios, Vucic discussed the potential for strengthening cooperation, stressing that “today, Angola is among the 20 most popular investment destinations for Serbian companies overseas.” In a meeting with Japanese Ambassador Naohiro Tsutsumi, Vucic underlined Serbia’s commitment to further developing bilateral cooperation. The meeting also touched on the ongoing projects as well as plans for new investments that would further strengthen bilateral relations.
