Kosovo joining military alliances with Albania and Croatia has “additionally raised tensions” in the region and has endangered the safety of the Serbian people, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said in Feb. 25 on Instagram.

In the post, which described his earlier conversation with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Peter Sorensen held in Belgrade, Vucic expressed his belief that it is in the interest of all parties to avoid actions leading to further escalation.

Vucic also wrote that he told Sorensen it is imperative to take concrete steps toward the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities in Kosovo without delay.
