On June 4, European Council President Antonio Costa will meet with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and other state officials, as well as with members of civil society.

Costa arrived at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport late on June 3, within his tour of the Western Balkans.

The European Council head will also meet with Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome Antonio Costa to Belgrade. This visit provides a significant impetus to further strengthening Serbian-EU relations and confirms the importance of the dialogue we are leading with our European partners in times rife with challenges for us all,” Vucic wrote on Instagram on the evening of June 3.

On June 5, Costa will participate in the EU-Western Balkan Summit in Tivat, Montenegro, which is set to be attended by 30 EU and Western Balkan leaders, including President Vucic.
