Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on June 20 that he expects the beginning of strategic dialog with the U.S. soon.

Appearing in a joint program of the Informer, Prva and Pink television stations, Vucic said he also hopes that Serbia "will fulfill its obligations on the European path." He said further that he hopes "an end to the conflict in Ukraine will come soon."

Vucic said that he has always treated Russia and Ukraine with respect, and that the countries in the region must live together and talk.

As for the subject of Serbia's relations with other Western Balkan countries, Vucic said he hopes that in the future "there will be people who will want to talk" in the region about it. "I believe that in the future there will be people who will want to talk and who will understand that we have to live together. We are here, right next to one another," he said.
