This Year Bosnia Exports Electricity the Most, Imports Oil

The biggest imports in Bosnia and Herzegovina this year were oil and its derivatives, whereas in the same period, the country exported electricity the most. 

According to Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina data, given to the daily Nezavisne Novine, in January - September this year the imported goods were mostly oil and its derivatives, for BAM2.23bn. 

"After oil, the most imported was aluminum in its raw forms, followed by hard coal and similar fossil fuels, cars and other motor vehicles, and medicines. 

The top five import tariffs account for 23% of total imports," the data show. 

On the other hand, electricity worth BAM904m was exported in the observed period. 

"Next are raw aluminum exports, car seats, construction - except prefabricated buildings, and insulated wire. 

The top five export tariffs account for 22% of total exports," according to the data. 

The Chamber underlines that the achieved volume of trade is about BAM35.4bn, up 9.5bn or 36.58% compared to the same period last year.
