The Hungarian Wizz Air low cost airline will temporarily cancel 36 routes in the region during winter.

As many as eight routes will be scrapped in Tuzla while Wizz Air has also canceled its only route to Slovenia, the Klix website has reported.

This year’s last flight between Charleroi, Belgium and Ljubljana is scheduled to take place on Oct. 24 while expectations are that traffic will resume in March next year.

Earlier on, Wizz Air discontinued four routes from Tuzla, and is now canceling four more - to Berlin, Cologne, Baden and Vaxjo. These flights will also resume in March 2021.

The four previously cancelled routes were supposed to be re-established in October, however, this is definitely not going to happen this year, the Sarajevo website said.

The Hungarian airline has also temporarily suspended flights from Sarajevo to Budapest, which are supposed to resume on Oct. 2.
