On July 3, Germany’s PWO Group will officially open the doors to its metal parts manufacturing plant in Preljina, near Cacak, with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in attendance.
Specializing in the production of tools and automobile components, the factory spans 17,000 square meters and, according to PWO, will employ over 500 people.
Construction on the EUR89-million investment began in late May 2024, with the Serbian government providing about EUR17 million of the funds through subsidies.
