A group of some 600 university students from Cacak, Uzice and Kraljevo and graduating year pupils of Cacak high schools on Feb. 10 left the town on foot for a protest in Belgrade scheduled for March 15.

Several doctors from Cacak, teachers from the Cacak Faculty of Technical Sciences and a number of high school teachers accompanied the students on the protest march from
Cacak to Belgrade.

Taxis from Uzice drove university students from that city to Cacak free of charge this morning, while students from Kraljevo got rides from other denizens of Kraljevo in their private vehicles.

Dusan Sreckovic, a teacher at Cacak's technical vocational school, told BETA that he "felt duty bound to march together with the graduating class" that he teaches and that he had already marched with them to the protest in Kragujevac.

Some 500 university and high school students left Nis for Belgrade on March 9. University and high school students from Kragujevac will also reportedly start for Belgrade on foot on March 11.
