China’s Changan Launches Two EV Models in Serbia

The Chinese company Changan Automobile, one of the leading global producers of cars, is launching the sale of two new electric SUV models, the Deepal S07 and S05, on the market of Serbia and the Western Balkans, the executive director of OMR Group’s Automotive Division, Dejan Stupar, announced on Nov. 20.

Both Changan models are available immediately and the first deliveries to buyers will begin in December. Furthermore, buyers have the ability to schedule a test drive of either model at the Ada Motors showroom in Belgrade. “Changan is finally in Serbia. We already launched the sale of the Deepal S07 and S05 models in Serbia and the interest is huge. We had more than 300 test drives in the past few days,” Stupar told BETA during the presentation of the new models at the Lozionica venue in Belgrade.

He announced that the first Changan BM Motors showroom in Belgrade would be opened on Nov. 21. The Changan brand, according to Stupar, offers exceptional design and technology at the level that does not exist in other Chinese brands. The warranty period, as Stupar stated, is seven years or 200,000 kilometers.
