Just days before the United States celebrated its Independence Day on July 4, one act and one failure to act by Serbia had provoked a mild reaction from Washington, but it appears that nothing more serious should be expected in the relationship for now, as the two sides exchanged very cordial words on the annual celebration of American nationhood.
