Last week’s attack on the important Ibar–Lepenac water canal in the northern Kosovo municipality of Zubin Potok again raised tensions in the relations between Belgrade and Pristina. The Kosovo authorities blamed their counterparts in Belgrade for the attack, while Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic dismissed the accusations, but did not point a finger at Pristina. At this time, it is difficult to say who was behind the attack and what the motives were, and whether the real culprit will be found anytime soon is questionable.
