Both the authorities spearheaded by Aleksandar Vucic and their opponents are waiting in a heated atmosphere for March 15, the date when a mass protest will be held in Belgrade at the call of the rebelling students. What the protest will look like, what will happen, will there be violence or a clear outcome – it is difficult to say. While the authorities claim they will demonstrate power and will not allow occupation of institutions, numerous opposition-oriented citizens are publicly voicing the hope that March 15 will be Vucic’s last day at Serbia’s helm, which is unrealistic.
