A Model that Can’t Solve Problems

 Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said recently that he is planning to propose to Serbia’s new government that mandatory military service should be reintroduced. It is actually a euphemism for a decision that has already been made, as it is hard to believe that across the entire apparatus there could be a political force strong enough to dismiss “the proposal.”
