Agreement, Not a Solution

During an EU-mediated meeting on Nov. 23, Belgrade and Pristina reached an agreement as to how to resolve temporarily a dispute over car registration plates. For the time being, the verbal agreement has prevented the crisis from escalating, but the dispute has not been resolved. Depending on circumstances, the issue might be raised again creating new tensions between the two sides.
