This week marks two months since the horrific mass shootings in the Vladislav Ribnikar elementary school in Belgrade and two villages around Mladenovac, which galvanized the most massive protests in Serbia since Aleksandar Vucic’s rise to power. The protests, dubbed Serbia Against Violence, have been going on for eight weeks in Belgrade and other cities in Serbia. A list of demands has been adopted geared toward reducing violence in society (above all through the media sphere) and toward bringing the relevant ministers to account.
