The authorities spearheaded by Aleksandar Vucic have over the last several days been blasted by politicians from Sarajevo for the participation of Belgrade Military Academy cadets in a military parade through the town of Prijedor, even though everything about the event had been “by the book.” Vucic has on several occasions reacted strongly to accusations from Sarajevo and was apparently even more affected by reports from the Nova newspaper on Russian official Alexander Grushko’s visit to Belgrade. The regime worked to suppress those two unpleasant topics by launching a campaign against journalist Srdjan Skoro, whom it is unjustifiably accusing of calling for the lynching of Vucic’s son Danilo.
