Zagreb’s new mayor Tomislav Tomasevic is a long-time activist and fighter for public interest in Croatia’s capital. As a candidate of the green-left coalition We Can, Tomasevic easily defeated the rightist Homeland Movement’s candidate, singer and entrepreneur Miroslav Skoro, in a run-off.
