Benjamina Karic (PrtScr vip.hd.ba)
Sarajevo’s young mayor Benjamina Karic, until recently unknown to the wider public, was elected on April 8 and has since drawn considerable public attention in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but other neighboring states as well. A meeting with Banjaluka’s young mayor Drasko Stanivukovic has also echoed through the media given that the meeting was the first between the mayors of these two cities since the end of the war in Bosnia.
